Background
Greece is mountainous and islandous, and although solar resources are abundant, grid access is unstable in some areas, especially along the coastline and in island regions. In recent years, the acceptance of renewable energy in households has increased rapidly, and home energy storage systems have become a key configuration for green living.
This project is located in a seaside residential area in Piraeus, Greece. The users are a retired couple who want a more independent and environmentally friendly way of using electricity while enjoying a peaceful life by the sea and reducing their dependence on the traditional power grid.
Introduction
The installation team deployed an energy storage system based on Tower T17, whose modular stacking design saves installation space and is more suitable for outdoor environments in coastal areas. The IP65 protection level ensures stable operation in humid and salt spray environments.
Tower T17 Residential Energy Storage system adopts lithium iron phosphate batteries, with a cycle life of more than 6,000 times, low long-term cost, and with remote monitoring capabilities, users can keep track of the power status. This flexible and robust configuration is the ideal solution for the Mediterranean environment.
Customer Value
Through this Tower system, the user realizes 24/7 off-grid operation, and daily electricity consumption is provided by rooftop photovoltaic with energy storage system, truly realizing energy autonomy. Against the backdrop of the Greek government's renewable energy strategy, this case demonstrates the value of Dyness products in the green transition.
