Background
In Belgium, as more households transition toward renewable energy, rooftop solar systems have become increasingly common. However, with frequent cloudy weather and fluctuating solar generation, relying solely on PV systems can make it difficult to ensure a consistent and reliable power supply.
The two households in this project aimed to further optimize their energy systems—seeking not only higher efficiency, but also a more stable and predictable energy experience in their daily lives.

Introduction
To achieve this, both homes installed Dyness Powerbox G2 energy storage systems, seamlessly integrated with Victron and Solis inverters to create a reliable and efficient residential energy solution.

Each Powerbox G2 unit provides 10.24 kWh capacity and supports up to 50 units in parallel, enabling flexible system sizing based on different household needs. With its 1C discharge capability, the system delivers stable power during peak usage periods. In addition, its slim profile and flexible installation options allow it to blend naturally into residential environments, balancing performance with aesthetics.
Customer Value
With the addition of Powerbox G2, both households have significantly improved their solar self-consumption while reducing dependence on the grid.
Whether during extended cloudy days or in the evening when energy demand rises, the system provides consistent and reliable support—turning electricity into something predictable and dependable. Powerbox G2 ultimately enables a more flexible, resilient, and sustainable way of living.
