Dyness now offers new possibilities to the Greece renewables market and people, through full-secenrio products and services.
According to the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) of Greece from the European Commission, shows that Greece will strongly support the European objective of climate neutrality by 2050, which is the same as Greece's national long-term strategy. In the final NECP report, Greece also states the target for the renewable share in power generation at above 95% by 2050, this commitment has greatly encouraged the rapid development of Greece’s renewable energy industry.
61%, which is the target Greece made for its electricity consumption from renewable sources by 2023, which mostly consists of wind and solar photovoltaics. Some figures should be noticed, from the discussion held by the HELAPCO (Hellenic Association of Photovoltaic Companies) with the Deputy Minister of Energy Mrs A. Sdoukou attending. The discussion pointed out that 2023 is a record year for the PV market in Greece, in total 7 GW capacity right now because there was 1.6 GW of new photovoltaics connected to the grid in 2023. Compared with the 0.8GW of 2021, the double growth speed of PV market can visually share the determination about developing renewable energy generation in Greece.

However, Greece is still facing some electricity issues nowadays. Renewable energy projects are also facing notable delays in being connected to the grid because of a lack of grid capacity. Following the plan to phase out coal-fired power plants by 2028, IEA said that Greece needs substantial investments in grid infrastructure and storage solutions to handle the variability of renewable energy generation, which is a timing-solved problem. Also, the numerous island landscapes make the energy transition more complex and too expensive to afford, though it brings wonderful scenes to the world. Among the Greek public, Energy Poverty is a struggling barrier for them towards creating a greener life.
In this situation, energy storage has become a corresponding solution for Greece. According to <Greece 2023 · Energy Policy Review> published by the IEA, the RAE had issued 181 licences for electricity storage projects at the end of 2021, with a total capacity of 14.3 GW. And in April 2023, the related ministry opened a subsidy policy of EUR 200 million for the new program "Photovoltaics on the Roof" for 2023, with up to 75% of total cost for households and 60% for farmers. Through renewable energy subsidies, energy storage has further entered thousands of households.
Last month, EnergyPress just published the news which shows the energy ministry is considering to subdue by promoting energy-storage unit installations instead of new RES unit additions. The constantly updated renewable energy policies are continuing to inject new vitality into the Greek people and industry development. Dyness, the global pioneering energy storage solutions innovator, has entered the Greece market in years. With customer-oriented product development spirit and advantageous technology capacity, Dyness now offers new possibilities to the Greece renewables market and people, through full-secenrio products and services.

Notably, the commercial and industrial (C&I) product DH200F of Dyness has already been successfully implemented in Greece. After the company moved to the new building, they begun to look for a back-up energy source to guard the autonomy of using electricity. Finally, the DH200F is the choice for them because of perfect adaptation. In this project, the campany chose the 215 kWh capacity of this product to application in a timely manner. The company owner expressed, with Dyness and its local partners joint efforts, the 215 kWh DH200F is silently dedicating itself in their office now.
The Intelligent All-In-One Air-Cooling Choice - DH200F
Full Scenarios
The DH200F integrates multifunctional capabilities, supporting photovoltaic access and seamless switching between grid-connected and off-grid modes, perfectly aligning with Greece's renewable development initiatives. While infrastructure changes take time, the robust design of the DH200F ensures it can handle all scenarios, including light storage and diesel generators, providing a reliable energy solution for various operational requirements and maximizing energy savings.
Unparalleled Safety
Safety is a paramount concern in the design of the DH200F. It employs a proactive fire prevention strategy, featuring a three-level detection system combined with multiple fire extinguishing agents and EMS intelligent judgment. This comprehensive safety mechanism ensures early detection and swift response to potential issues, safeguarding both the equipment and the facility. Additionally, the IP55 protection level and C3 anti-corrosion capabilities support the application of the DH200F in extreme conditions, as demonstrated by successful installations in locations such as the Canary Islands, Spain.
Remarkable Flexibility
Flexibility and efficiency are core attributes of the DH200F. The system's scalability is another standout feature, allowing up to 12 units to operate in parallel and expanding storage capacity to 2.5MWh to meet diverse energy needs. It can also be equipped with a smart and efficient Static Transfer Switch (STS) as an option, enabling grid-connected and off-grid switching in less than 20ms, ensuring an uninterrupted power supply. The air-cooled system and user-friendly touch screen further enhance its operational efficiency and ease of use.The Dyness DH200F is not just an energy storage system; it is a comprehensive, safe, and flexible solution designed to meet the evolving energy needs of businesses and industries, ensuring a sustainable and reliable energy future. Now, the DH200F has already been successfully implemented in Spain, the Netherlands, and several other European countries.
