Dyness
As the innovator in energy storage solutions, Dyness has an all-around product line from residential to commercial scenarios.
This year, it has been witnessed that the commercial segment in energy storage market has a conspicuous growth. Businesses are looking to energy storage as a reliable solution to unstable grid connections and rising operational costs, responding to the call for zero-emission and sustainable development at the same time. According to BloombergNEF, the commercial segment only accounts for 5% of total storage deployments globally but is expected to grow to 11% in 2030 as funding and interest in this segment increase in key markets such as China, Germany, Italy, Spain and Brazil, as well as countries in the Middle East and Africa.
Robust C&I Product PowerRack HV4
Of course, advanced battery storage technology and products are the foundation of market growth. As the innovator in energy storage solutions, Dyness has an all-around product line from residential to commercial scenarios.
Flexible and Trusted Choices
The PowerRack HV4 is at the core of Dyness offering for the commercial and industrial segment, which is the first C&I product launched by Dyness, featuring modular design and flexible configuration. Available from 15.3kWh to 76.8kWh per cluster, the PowerRack HV4 can be connected in parallel up to 12 clusters for a capacity of 912.7kWh, covering small-scale to large-scale energy consumption applications. With a strong supply chain advantage, Dyness products adopt first-tier brand battery cells, offering a 10-year warranty.
Thoughtful and Ultimate Safety
The system can be equipped with an optional fire protection module with an aerosol fire extinguisher, which can extinguish an open fire inside the module within 5 seconds and prevent re-ignition in extreme cases. Furthermore, the PowerRack HV4 could have an optional WIFI module that supports operational data monitoring and troubleshooting for the system, ensuring the optimal safety of operation. Furthermore, the full-flow services like detailed, professional presales consulting and on-time aftersales service from Dyness can significantly support customers' confidence.
Enhanced Performance with Reduced Investment
Moreover, Dyness's continuous innovation and optimization make it highly efficient and cost-saving in terms of investment and transportation. The PowerRack HV4 owns a charging logic of one-by-one rather than all clusters stopping charging once one cluster is fully charged, so that the SOC of each cluster in parallel is 100%, providing superior system efficiency. Additionally, the intra-module and inter-module balancing capabilities make the mixed use and capacity expansion of modules with different SOC possible, saving investment costs for users. The detachable rack design also contributes to the reduction of transportation fees.
Perfect Application in a Brazilian Food Factory
In May, this year, these advantages were demonstrated in a project equipped with 5 clusters of PowerRack HV4s at a Brazilian food processing plant. This energy storage project with 307kWh capacity provides backup power for this factory, and helps peak-shaving, enhancing its PV Consumption Rate.
Due to the large power of the factory's production line and the problems of more pronounced load fluctuations, low PV utilization and insufficient grid quota, a tailored energy storage solution was added to the original PV, which not only achieves a dynamic capacity increase of the energy, but also supplements the power to support the normal operation of the load during peak periods.
At the same time, the project adopts Dyness' newly developed EMS+BMS, which monitors internal and external power and status, and carries out co-ordinated control and energy optimization management of the plant's PV+storage equipment, to achieve intelligent management and operation, increasing PV generation revenues, and reducing carbon emissions.
Ready to Unlock the C&I Potential in Brazil
SolarPower Europe noted in the "Global Market Outlook For Solar Power 2024-2028" report that Brazil is the No.3 largest solar power market in the world in 2023. The solar power has moved from fifth to second place with 17% share last year in the Brazilian generation market, due to favorable energy policies and cheap PV. The International Solar Energy Society (ISES) reports that more than 90 million consumer units in Brazil are still available to go solar. This country has emerged as one of the global leaders in the adoption of solar energy.
However, the implementation of energy storage systems is still in its infancy in Brazil, because of the lack of legal or regulatory definitions. Undeniably, energy storage plays a huge role in ensuring the stability of Brazil's electricity supply, avoiding waste of generation and balancing generation and load. BNEF forecasts that the energy storage growth in Brazil by 2030 will be driven mainly by commercial and utility-scale demands.
In March 2024, Brazil's Minister of Mines and Energy announced that batteries and storage will be included in the country's capacity auction, which is scheduled for August 30, 2024. Under this context, it can be expected that there is huge growth potential in this energy storage market.
As one of the earliest overseas branches of Dyness, Brazil is the market that Dyness has deep cultivation, and has established solid partnerships locally, building great brand awareness. The "Top Brand PV" award in storage issued by EUPD Research tells the brand influence very well. From residential to commercial scenarios, Dyness offers innovative and intelligent energy storage solutions for customers and users, striving to reduce energy acquisition costs. Its product matrix is also updated through insights into market needs, launching upgraded products like Powerbox G2, and DH100F, for different-scale applications.
