Dyness has launched its latest C&I solution for small business owners: STACK100. This is a stackable C&I energy storage system designed for high-voltage and light business scenarios.

InfoLink reports that global installed energy storage capacity grew by 93.8% year-on-year to 64.9 GWh in the first half of 2024. Utility-scale energy storage (including C&I) reached 57.3 GWh, representing an 118% year-on-year increase and accounting for approximately 88% of the total installed capacity. In particular, the C&I segment is experiencing growth in Germany, Italy, and the UK this year.

With the growth in the C&I market, there are still some challenges that need to be overcome. For example, the existing design structure for small indoor industrial and commercial products is not sufficiently flexible. The typical rack structure, which is costly to transport and is more likely to result in wasted space. In addition, the energy storage system and the inverter are in the same space, with the inverter continuing to dissipate heat, creating a temperature difference between the upper and lower spaces in the room, which leads to a larger temperature difference between the modules of the energy storage system and an increased variability of life decay.

To address these issues and optimize the user experience, Dyness has launched its latest C&I solution for small business owners: STACK100. This is a stackable C&I energy storage system designed for high-voltage and light business scenarios, excelling in safety, performance, installation and maintenance, and configuration.

Ultimate Safety

In addition to the fundamental safety and security measures, such as the use of the most stable battery cell materials and the safest product design, Dyness has incorporated enhanced safety and security features into the STACK100 product design. As an additional precaution, each battery pack is equipped with an independent fire extinguishing device with an execution time of less than 5s, providing an additional layer of protection in the event of an emergency. Moreover, the integrated WiFi module enables real-time monitoring and diagnostics, further guaranteeing the optimal safety of system operation.

Flexible Configuration

The STACK100 is designed to be stackable, eliminating the need for additional brackets and making installation and expansion more flexible and easier. At the same time, the product module integrated Dyness's first built-in square steel skeleton design into the stacked structure, addressing the issue of heavy module stacking load-bearing, ensuring the load-bearing and stability of the system. Additionally, the STACK100 has a capacity range of 15.36kWh to 76.8kWh. The system's strong adaptability allows for up to 12 clusters to be run in parallel without the need for an additional secondary master control unit. This expands the capacity from 15.36kWh to 921.6kWh, making it suitable for a wide range of capacity requirements.

Enhanced System Performance

One of the innovative advantages of the STACK100 is that it adopts the first built-in air duct design for stacked products, which can solve the problem of temperature difference between the upper and lower modules when the products are stacked to a certain height, making the temperature difference between the modules is less than or equal to 3℃. This measure can prevent high module temperatures, guaranteeing that the system has superior thermal management capability at 1C charging and discharging efficiency, thus effectively reducing the system capacity decay rate and ensuring the system's operational efficiency and service life of up to 10 years. Furthermore, this product incorporates circuit protection devices and a black-start function, ensuring a stable power supply even in extreme conditions.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

The stackable system structure eliminates complex wiring operations, making installation easier and more convenient, and the overall installation time is less than 40 minutes, which greatly saves engineers' energy and time. In addition, the STACK100 features a front-mounted BMS maintenance panel that is friendly for technicians to operate, saving time on inspections and maintenance. It is notable that the front panel is also equipped with a customizable LED light that indicates the status of system running, making the working status more visible and intuitive.

Smart Management

Dyness has integrated Cloud-Edge Collaboration and the latest big-data technologies into system management, providing users with an intelligent energy management experience.
