Background
In the Austrian community of Rutzenham, a local brewery sits quietly among scenic surroundings. By day, it carries on the tradition of brewing; by evening, it transforms into a lively restaurant space filled with warm lighting, wooden tables, and the rich aroma of freshly crafted beer.
As more guests gather to enjoy food and local brews, energy demand rises behind the scenes. Kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, and ambient lighting all operate simultaneously during peak hours, creating concentrated power demand. Ensuring stable energy supply without compromising the atmosphere became a new challenge for the brewery.

Introduction
To meet this need, the project deployed a Dyness STACK100 commercial energy storage system with a total capacity of approximately 983 kWh, integrated with a PV system to form a smart energy solution combining generation, storage, and consumption.

The STACK100 stores solar energy during the day and releases it in the evening when the restaurant is at its busiest, supporting lighting, kitchen operations, and the overall dining experience. Its modular design allows flexible deployment and leaves room for future expansion, including EV charging integration.
