Background
In recent years, Ireland has been accelerating its green transition, with more and more households installing photovoltaic systems, particularly in rural and coastal areas. However, the need for stable energy storage has become increasingly urgent due to the volatility of the local weather, frequent rain and cloudy conditions, and fluctuations in the grid supply.
The family in this case lives in a rural town in the west of Ireland, and the family of four is highly dependent on electricity for their daily lives. During the winter months, when the nights get longer and the power load increases, the family has experienced a number of sudden power cuts, which not only affects their daily life, but also causes problems for their children's distance learning.
Introduction
To solve this dilemma, we deployed two Dyness DL5.0C storage batteries to build a 10.24kWh clean power system, which can be wall-mounted or floor-mounted, and is compact enough to fit perfectly into the side wall of the traditional masonry patio, making it practical without compromising on aesthetics.
DL5.0C Residential Energy Storage system supports a high 1C discharge rate, allowing it to power the kitchen, living room and study simultaneously, even in the event of a power cut, and the LFP cells have an extra-long cycle life and can be equipped with an optional automatic heating function to ensure reliable operation during the wet and cold Irish winters.
