To respond to users' growing demand for energy storage capacity and flexible configurations, Dyness continuously advances product upgrades and technological iterations for the PowerBrick series.
At Sorriso House Resort in Buriram Province, Thailand's northeast, nestled beside the Pha Nong Lan volcano, sunlight not only illuminates the landscape but also serves as a source of green energy.
As the cultural tourism sector increasingly prioritizes high-quality energy use and sustainable development, ‘photovoltaics + energy storage’ is becoming a key choice for resorts and commercial spaces. The Dyness PowerBrick energy storage system serves as an indispensable ‘power heart,’ providing stable and reliable electricity for the daily operations of the hotel's coffee house, ensuring leisurely moments are always accompanied by clean energy.
Focusing on Energy Stability to Meet Commercial Operational Needs
As a vital public space within the hotel, the café demands high continuity and stability in its power supply for daily operations.
Coffee machines, refrigeration equipment, lighting systems, and point-of-sale devices require prolonged operation. Grid fluctuations or intermittent power outages would directly impact customer experience and operational efficiency.

Addressing local grid instability, the project team deployed a distributed photovoltaic-storage integrated solution tailored to actual energy consumption patterns. This comprises LONGi photovoltaic modules, Solis 8kVA hybrid inverters, and Dyness Powerbrick 14.3kWh energy storage batteries, establishing a microgrid system operating on a ‘self-generation for self-consumption + surplus feed-in’ model. This ensures uninterrupted business operations while enhancing overall energy security and efficiency.
Photovoltaic-storage synergy enhances energy control
Operating in grid-connected mode with dedicated backup loads, the system provides instantaneous power to critical equipment during unexpected outages, minimising operational disruption.
During routine operations, the café prioritises daytime solar generation, storing surplus electricity in the PowerBrick for night-time consumption or grid irregularities. This significantly increases self-consumption ratios, transforming the café's energy approach from passive grid dependency to proactive energy management.
Combined with Thailand's multiple fiscal incentive policies for ‘photovoltaic + energy storage’ initiatives rolling out from 2024-2025, this solution offers distinct advantages in both economic viability and long-term sustainability.

PowerBrick: A Reliable Low-Voltage Energy Storage Solution
As Dyness's low-voltage energy storage product designed for diverse application scenarios, PowerBrick fully demonstrated its comprehensive advantages in safety, flexibility, and reliability throughout this project.
1. Ultimate Safety: Featuring an integrated intelligent aerosol fire suppression system capable of detecting and suppressing fires within 5 seconds, it provides enhanced safety protection for densely populated commercial spaces such as coffee shops.
2. Highly Flexible: PowerBrick supports parallel connection of up to 50 units, with capacity ranging from 14.3 kWh to 716.8 kWh, enabling flexible expansion to meet the energy demands of different commercial scales. It accommodates both wall-mounted and floor-standing installations, with optional casters to optimize space utilization and significantly enhance installation and operational efficiency.
3. Efficient Charging and Discharging: With a maximum charging/discharging power of 10.24 kW, it can simultaneously supply stable power to multiple loads, meeting the peak energy demands of coffee shops.

In this project, PowerBrick not only ensures a stable power supply but also provides users with more controllable energy consumption methods, achieving a balance between economy and reliability.
Continuous Iteration, Expanding Energy Storage Possibilities
To respond to users' growing demand for energy storage capacity and flexible configurations, Dyness continuously advances product upgrades and technological iterations for the PowerBrick series.
Previously, the 280Ah PowerBrick and PowerBrick Pro series achieved widespread adoption. Now, Dyness's next-generation 314Ah PowerBrick SC, PowerBrick Max, and PowerBrick Plus are poised for market launch, offering greater capacity and expanded configuration options for residential storage, commercial applications, and diverse energy storage scenarios.

As the product matrix continues to evolve, the economic viability and scenario adaptability of energy storage systems will steadily improve. Dyness will also intensify its focus on the ‘universal accessibility’ of energy, transforming storage from an exclusive ‘premium option’ into foundational energy infrastructure that is ‘affordable, reliable, and durable’ for a broader user base.
Bringing green energy into daily life
Undoubtedly, the Sorriso House Resort project stands as a vivid example of the “solar + storage + tourism” model in practice. Through a stable and reliable energy storage system, clean energy transcends mere concept, becoming tangibly integrated into resort operations and everyday consumption scenarios. This transforms green energy usage into a tangible, perceptible experience.
Looking ahead, Dyness will continue to drive innovation in energy storage technologies and expand one-stop energy solutions across global markets — accelerating the transition toward a cleaner, lower-carbon, and more sustainable energy future.
