Background
In recent years, Romania's household electricity consumption load has continued to grow, especially during the winter heating and summer cooling periods, the demand for stable power supply has increased significantly. At the same time, the state vigorously promotes green energy transition, encourages residents to install PV systems, and the combination of PV and energy storage has become an important path to increase the rate of self-generation and self-consumption, and to reduce the cost of electricity.
The customer of this project is located in a suburb of Bucharest. The self-built house already has a PV system, but the household equipment is vulnerable to power grid fluctuations or sudden power outages. In order to improve power continuity and utilize solar energy more efficiently, the client wanted to deploy an energy storage system that is flexible, safe and easy to install.
Introduction
Dyness recommends PowerBox Pro low-voltage energy storage system, which, thanks to its high IP65 protection rating and multiple electrical safety mechanisms, is able to operate stably even in Romania's snowy and rainy climate. The system supports both wall-mounted and floor-mounted installations, making it a space-efficient solution that fits perfectly into modern home environments.
PowerBox Pro has a capacity of 10.24kWh, supports up to 50 parallel units and can be expanded to a maximum of 512kWh, which can satisfy different stages of household electricity load changes. Equipped with advanced battery equalization technology, it can mix different SOC modules to ensure system efficiency and battery life. Powerful anti-surge, short-circuit lockout and other safety features build a comprehensive protection system.
Customer Value
After the system went live, the customer successfully realized the local consumption of photovoltaic power, and still ensured the continuous operation of key equipment such as lighting, heating and security during nighttime and blackout periods. the flexible scalability of the Powerbox Pro and its adaptability to remote areas allowed the customer to control the cost of electricity while improving the overall independence of electricity consumption and sense of security. This project not only enhances the customer's energy experience, but also demonstrates Dyness' expertise and product reliability in the Eastern European home energy storage market.
