Background
In recent years, Poland's rapid transition to clean energy, policy support for rooftop photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage systems for households, and frequent fluctuations in electricity prices have accelerated the adoption of autonomous energy storage solutions by local residents. Particularly in the south of Poland, where single-family homes are common, there is a growing demand for efficient and safe home energy storage systems.
The customers of this project live on the outskirts of Kraków and have a high domestic electricity load, especially during the winter heating and appliance usage peaks, which puts a higher demand on backup power. After installing a photovoltaic system, they wanted to further integrate an energy storage unit to realize a higher percentage of self-generated electricity and to improve the system's resilience in extreme weather.
Introduction
To meet the power needs of large homes, Dyness Tower range of high voltage products was used to provide over 20kWh of clean energy storage capacity. The modular design of the tower not only allows for easy stacking and installation in a compact indoor space, but also provides greater system flexibility. The system can be upgraded and monitored remotely, allowing users to keep track of the operating status.
Tower series High Voltage Residential Energy Storage system uses lithium iron phosphate as the core material, guaranteeing a life of over 6,000 charge/discharge cycles. Combined with the high protection level of the housing, Tower series is able to effectively withstand the volatile climatic environment in Poland. Its compatibility with mainstream inverters also simplifies the system integration process, allowing it to be up and running on the same day of installation.
Customer Value
Through this deployment, the customer has successfully realized the deep integration of the energy storage system with the PV system, improved the self-sufficiency rate of electricity consumption and effectively avoided the risk of rising electricity prices during peak hours. the stable output and flexible expansion capability of the Tower system has brought families a more secure and environmentally friendly energy experience, and has also become an excellent example of the local green transformation.
