Background
As urbanization progresses in the suburban areas of central Philippine cities, many young families are moving into newly built residential areas, hoping to reduce their long-term electricity bills and increase their power independence through photovoltaic (PV) systems. However, the local power grid is still prone to power outages during extreme weather, which often disrupts family life.
When a family of three moved into their new home, they planned to deploy a complete PV storage solution from the start to ensure that their daily electricity consumption remained stable.
Introduction
On the recommendation of the installer, the family chose to deploy two Dyness PowerBrick storage batteries, which together with the solar panels on the roof, provide a closed-loop system of daytime power generation and nighttime energy storage.The PowerBrick is based on Lithium Iron Phosphate (Li-FePO4) technology, with a capacity of 14.3kWh, and is designed to be expandable in parallel with other batteries to provide a long lifespan and a high level of safety.
Its one-piece design with a roller base allows for flexible placement in the home; even in compact homes, it can easily fit into modern home decorating styles. The system supports APP remote monitoring, allowing users to keep track of power status and manage daily power distribution.
